How do I ship ashes?

Do I need to do anything special at the Post Office when I ship the ashes?

Yes. You must declare the contents of the box at the counter and request Priority Mail Service. The postal clerk will assist you from there.

Do I need a death certificate or permit to ship remains?

What if the package is lost or damaged in transit?

We recommend purchasing insurance through the U.S. Postal Service when you ship. While we take every precaution on our end, we are not responsible for loss or damage that occurs during transit.
